Job Description
Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates complex analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for analog and mixed signal electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Determines creative design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data. Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Applies and uses independent evaluation to selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. Evaluates practical capability of vendor to support product development. Also includes Analog, MixedSignal and RF Development Engineers with specialized skills and expertise in developing Monolithic Integrated Circuits for wireless and wireline communications systems and products.
As an Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer, you will be part of a team designing various analog/mixed-signal circuit designs on Intel FPGAs such as PLLs and clocking circuits, regulators and bandgaps, ADC, IO circuits etc on advanced process nodes and have an opportunity work on a diverse set of blocks and tasks in all phases of the design. You will work as a design member team in US.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Custom analog/digital circuit design, layout interaction, extraction, simulations, performance/reliability/high voltage analysis
- Validate design implementation and assumptions with simulations
- Help run formal checks such as UPF and ERC, timing and power modeling
- Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment
- Automate design tasks in order to complete the design in the most efficient fashion possible.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering with focus on Analog and mixed signal design
Preferred qualifications include exposure to:
- Digital/Logic design
- Matlab modeling
- Scripting in C++/Perl/Python/TCL
- Strong data analysis, excellent verbal, documentation and presentation skillsInside this Business Group
