Job Description :
• Work closely with Wealth Management or Lending or Channels on area of the Consumer Banking business. Pro-actively working with Product, Segment & Distribution groups to identify opportunities to leverage analytical techniques to deliver actionable insights.
• Work closely with Wealth Management or Lending or Channels or other business unit to prioritise incoming analytical requests to optimise use of the Analytical talent pool
• Manage the Analytics workflow process for the product or segment area to ensure that all requests add value, meet user requirements and are delivered within the required timeframe.
• Support the implementation and ongoing evolution of OCBC’s customer communications framework and award winning Analytical Marketing Platform – including knowledge transfer exercises with OCBC analytics colleagues in other geographies Qualifications
We are seeking individuals with the following types of skills:
 Seasoned business analysts / business development managers with practical experience of proactively championing insights or new business initiatives
 Have exposure to data management and analysis functions/analytical marketing functions.
 Possess good grounding in data management and analysis functions analytical software tools of leading analytical software tools (such as SAS/SPSS/R/Spark); leading database environments (Oracle / Teradata / Hadoop / SQL); reporting tools (Qlikview / Tableau/Cognos) and/or contact management platforms (Siebel/Pega).
 Strong consultative and communication skills; ability to visualise patterns arising out of data analysis and turn these into compelling stories using data visualization tools
 Creativity to see possibilities within the data & translate into decisions and actions for non-technical business users
 Curiosity & a real passion for understanding why.
 Knowledge of Direct Marketing and Customer Analytics concepts – such as statistical modeling, customer segmentation, event based marketing, campaign management and campaign effectiveness analysis
 Proactive, results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced organization
 Financial services experience preferred but not essential
