Position Description: Lenovo Data Center Group (DCG) Services are fundamental to the overall success and business model of DCG, providing critical services to our customers. We provide a range of part number and contract based offerings for amongst others, warranty upsell, software support, post-warranty and professional services. An opportunity has arisen to drive this success in Asia Pacific as the pricing analyst. The Pricing Analyst position is responsible for partnering with the Sales, Finance teams and other areas in order to develop and execute pricing strategies that drive incremental sales and profit for Lenovo. The Analyst will work as an expert and advocate for managing the pricing strategies within the price optimization system. In terms of products, the position will have responsibilities for all Lenovo DCG Services. Key responsibilities include Finance Planning, Product Pricing, Portfolio management, Internal customer relationship, sell-out activities, process improvements, implementation and development of new tools and processes, among other activities. Candidate should be able to help manage cross-brand product portfolios successfully: integrate all cost and pricing data, prepare Segmentation views, provide and understand financial Indicators. Control business compliance with planned portfolios (PFV / Volumes / Pricebands). Be able to suggest process enhancement following audit recommendations or efficiency improvement. Analyze Special Bids according to the P&L and delegation. Seek approvals from delegation holders. In addition, the successful candidate will also be allocated a Territory to cover for wider Services Offering Marketing activity. Working closely with the territory hardware marketing teams you will ensure that the key services messages are included in hardware marketing communication and are involved in events, product launches and collateral. You will also be the prime contact for services offering queries. Position Requirements: •Degree in Finance and/or Marketing with a strong analytical discipline. •Minimum of 3-4 years experience in developing pricing/profitability models, preferably in the IT industry •Excellence in problem solving & analysis skills. •Expertise in the data center services advantageous; ability to understand & articulate product specification differences with respect to cost & price differences. •Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; Experience with MS Access, SQL, Brio, or Hyperion would be advantageous. •Superior verbal and written communication skills, Team player. •Proven track record in methodically & meticulously driving solutions for complex problems that involve cross-functional disciplines. •Successful track record in working remotely; ability to work proactively & autonomously.
