a. Receive service calls from users on computer issues and ensure proper resolutions from in-house resources or external parties;
b. Execute all planned periodic (daily, monthly yearly) and adhoc tasks to ensure system operates in the most efficiently and effectively manner, including daily operations, data backup and restore, system and Operating System updates;
c. Undertake application support activities to applications users to ensure proper and correct use of application at all time, including preparing/updating the user guides/manuals, application Q&A and discussion with users on the functions, features and usage of applications.
d. Maintains close and effective communication with users and convey users and support needs/expectations with in-house software developer teams and external support.
e. Undertake unit and integrated testing on new or enhanced applications to ensure process and contributes ideas on features, processing steps and improvements, in particular aspects relating to execution environment (OS, batch execution);
f. Assist in the preparation of application documentation (user manual and support manual);
g. Assist in the implement of organizational security policy;
h. Assists less experienced peers and actively shares knowledge with peers.
i. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
j. Accomplishes department and organization missions by participating any related activities as needed.
