Job Description

Client Background : FMCG
  • Establish, develop and grow company business and to take a lead role in developing the overall functions of the assigned accounts to achieve company set objectives in sales, market shares and financial. This is done through effective account planning and deployment of resources within the agreed parameter.
  • To spearhead the development and building of the annual account plan to acheive and support company objectives in sales, market shares and profitability and implementing sales plan to achieve targeted sales and distribution objective within budgeted spend.
  • Review sales performance and promotion effectiveness, both sell-in and scan sales by category, brands and sub-brands on monthly and YTD basis; to identify opportunity to drive improvement in 4P's for the account.
  • Responsible for the yearly sales processes and strategic development planning with partners.
  • Actively collaborate with internal cross functional team to execute new initiatives.
  • Continuously monitoring and analysing competitor’s activities to identify their strength and weaknesses, in order to develop specific accounts tactical plans.
  • Actively review and manage accounts inventory level to ensure it is within an acceptable standard; and to develop sell out activities to reduce the stock holding days.
  • Prepare annual trading terms analysis of each spent element and advice on specific action plans to improve terms productivity.
  • Execute effective promotions campaigns within specific time-frame.Track actual planogram/location of display against plan via close communication/coordination with field sales team and promoters’ team.
  • Consistent status update of accounts’ performance in regard to stocks inventory, replenishment activities; promotions execution and pending issues to be resolved.
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by the Company from time.

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Marketing, Business, Commercial or equivalent from a reputable University (Diploma with good experience will be considered).
  • A strong track record in corporate sales and have at least 3-5 years in Key account management, preferably within an FMCG industry(At least 1-2 years of Key Account management in Modern Trade, handling Key Account planning).
  • Preferably possess some point of career exposure to MNC company before, but yet have the agility to adapt to our culture.
  • Prefer good experience in Key Account that may bring solid change and drive for Super/ Hyper business (or pharmacy experience for pharmacy channel).
  • A track record in creating and executive sales strategies.
  • Ability to develop solid understanding of the sector and businesses that relates to it.
  • Possess string network among the FMCG industry.
  • Capable of maintaining good relationship with the all levels.
  • Possess the desire and drive to succeed in fast pace and highly competitive environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Capable of multi tasking with good follow through skills.
