Job Description
  • Responsible for supporting the design, research and implementation of long-term strategic, innovative projects for Manpower Planning (MPP) & Flight Operations Department.
  • Oversee the data analysis/mining activities to ensure compliance with high quality, timely, reliable data designed to assist Senior Management in decision making.
  • Identify, investigate and resolve data integrity issues while providing leadership to improve operational data availability, access and usage.
  • Provide insight, interpretation and analysis of the relevant multiple data sources, using efficient Operational Research techniques to analyze mass data when required.
  • Manage Flight Operations Data Warehouse as a central point for the business to map, store and accumulate business data, internally & externally for the current and future.
  • Identify and prioritize initiatives to ensure the team is focused on business relevant and cost effective projects.
  • Develop performance and accountability measures to determine department progress and effectiveness; compare departmental performance against international benchmarks and recommend proposed changes.
  • Implement best practices and leading methodologies, projects, guidelines and recommendations to ensure improvement of data analysis capabilities and teams across the organization.
  • Lead the design, development and deployment of strategic reporting tools and dashboards to ensure reporting capabilities are timely and properly communicated to the business.
  • Lead strategic projects on data analysis and reporting areas to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget and according to business needs.
  • Advice senior management on the best practices and innovations regarding data mining, simulation, forecasting and reporting tools to ensure the access to best in class technologies and tools.
  • Develop business cases and continually manage systems to enhance business performance.
  • Lead, coach and provide informal and formal feedback to the team to ensure they perform according to high quality standards and providing maximum value to the business.
  • Identify, review and present analytics data to present to the business fact based revenue growth opportunities.
  • Advice and challenge business decisions leveraging analytical resources to effectively contribute to the strategic decision
  • Any other responsibility as may be assigned by Head - Crew Resources
