This role is responsible for driving day-to-day performance marketing strategy and operations for selected Grab verticals across the region while providing thought leadership to key stakeholders. Additionally, this role will initiate projects to achieve efficiency and performance of business vertical growth.
The day-to-day activities:

  • Plan, setup and optimize 'always-on' digital advertising channels for all markets

  • Formulate quarter plans and budgets for performance marketing with local teams across business verticals

  • Own all performance targets and budgets across a marketing objective such as new user acquisition or cross-sell

  • Deliver user acquisition numbers within targeted performance marketing KPIs such as CAC and conversion rates

  • Manage external media agencies and media owners, including regular evaluation of workflow and processes

  • Conceptualize, develop, and test evergreen and dynamic creative to improve performance

  • Exploring innovative ways to drive greater conversion through navigation of ad formats, mechanics, and user funnels

  • Educate internal and cross functional stakeholders on performance marketing best practices and strategy

The must-haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics/maths or tech-related majors

  • 3-4 years of performance marketing experience in tech-driven verticals such as e-commerce, travel or any other similar on-demand services

  • Hands-on experience in executing on performance marketing channels (Google Adwords, Facebook, 3rd Party Networks) and a solid understanding of underlying tech building blocks (product feed, automation and more) is critical

  • Familiar with mobile app user acquisition and retargeting have solid knowledge about cross-channel tracking, attribution logic and MMPs

  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to big groups of audiences on a regular basis

  • Performance-driven and direct-response minded when it comes to concepting and optimizing performance creative

  • Self-starter with a great learning attitude, able to learn and pick up new capabilities fast

  • Good with numbers, analytical minded and possesses great problem-solving skills
