Job Description

Strategic Contribution
 Translate and execution of business operating plan for the function
 Monitor, update and keep track of achievement of action plans to ensure objective /targets are met
 Assume the role of 3rd level support for production issues/incident escalated by Application Support team (2nd level support)


Enterprise Reporting
 Review and understand business requirements and clarifications received from Business Analysis team, act as first point of contact to ensure the prompt and accurate dissemination of information to the concerned party.
 Meet with business analysts when required to ensure that all the requirements and clarifications from business team are acted upon and answered.
 Develop BI strategy for the IT in compliance with the Group Enterprise Architecture goals and objectives. Manage the designing of the BI solutions to ensure alignment with the set strategy and plans.
 Review the development of the required dashboards and the implementation of high level reports to ensure alignment with business needs and the IT objectives.
 Coordinate with the infrastructure development to design the infrastructure/architecture and/or environment to ensure alignment with the set plans and objectives across the IT functions.
 Manage the training and support provided to the end users to transfer the knowledge and answer any queries with regards to the BI tools (e.g. Sybase SAB PI Launchpad tool).
 Ensure that all the information and documentation is updated to assist in the audit-trial process.
 Manage BI/MIS reporting requirements and serve as a single point of contact for the source of BI information to ensure that all queries are answered and acted upon promptly.
 Ensure continuous communication and coordination with the IT Project Management to ensure the prompt and accurate implementation of the project.
 Manage the implementation of the business requirements and transformation maps gathered from the vendor to ensure that continuity of prompt and accurate processes.
 Review and validate Change Requests (CR) and Cleanup Requests (CL) to ensure that the requests are as per requirements and fitness to use.
 Plan, manage and support UAT environment readiness and connectivity.
 Working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of system design align with Group IT.
