Why does this job exist and why is it critical​
The Billing Solution System Analyst is responsible to perform analysis and design and delivery of functional requirements specifications of the in scope systems/platform and as eventual system owners of the next-gen Billing capabilities. Billing domain coverage includes Customer Management, Inventory Management, Order Management, Product & Promotions, Charging & Billing, and especially Financials Management, where there will be close working relationship with Finance and Revenue Assurance teams.
What are you accountable for
  • Work and bridge Tech and Finance when it comes to Financial and Revenue management.
  • Manage Journaling, AR and Financial reporting related requirements and assist operations on complex financial reconciliation issues.
  • Manage and coordinate Change Requests or Project Requirements from business users.
  • Project coordination and project management from requirements to deployment for focus area
  • Vendor management in confirming effort and timelines to deliver the change requests and projects.
  • Manage business user expectation through continuous users engagement
  • Obtain/support design sign-offs from business stakeholders
  • Liaise with technical teams including function/system owners & subject matter expert across Network/IT
  • Vendor Management with regards to change management, project deliverables and scoping negotiations
  • SME on Billing capabilities to Business & IT stakeholders across the development lifecycle
  • Candidate is expected to manage Billing user requirements, timeline & budget to ensure that projects implementations and future change request are delivered on-time.
  • Experience should be clearly demonstrated in the area of Requirement management - ability to obtain, rationalize, and derive clear, measurable and documented requirements and tractability throughout the software development life cycle.
  • The candidate is expected to be the solution SME for one or more Billing functional domain working closely with the Business Analyst and Application Owners

What do you need to have for this role
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in IT, Computer Science or related qualification in (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
  • Required total relevant working experience between 3 to 7 year(s)
  • At least 5 to 10 year(s) of working experience in the related industry is required for this position.

  • Telco Domain Expertise : Billing, Revenue Management, Charging & Rating, Intelligent Network (IN), Journaling, Financials, Collections.

  • System Analysis & Design Experience : Business/System Analysis, Requirements Management, Business Support Systems, Solution Design, Software Development, Vendor Management.

  • The candidate must have experience working in a Telco environment with broad understanding of Business Support Systems (ie: CRM, Order Management, Charging & Billing, Integrated Channels/Portals) to be able to quickly pick up knowledge of Business-As-Usual systems and how the Billing system will be introduced within Maxis.

  • Candidate is expected to demonstrate ability for clearly articulating requirements, design approaches and propose workarounds working closely with the various stakeholders within Maxis, including obtaining requirement/design sign-offs.
