Role
• The position is responsible in bridging the business users’ processes with IT’s systems and technology. The primary role is to solicit and develop business requirements in addressing a define scope of business improvement or opportunity. The completed business requirement document will serve as input for application system development. He/She will be able to take an end to end lead in the delivery of enhancements/projects of simple to medium complexities.
• He/She will also participate in application setup, functional test, coordinating of user acceptance test, undertake investigation and provide resolution for application break-fix.
Accountabilities
• Obtain user requirements and develop business requirement document.
• Liaison with IT Application/development team/vendor on feasibility study and design.
• Perform application setup, testing and documentation.
• Coordinates User Acceptance Testing.
• Undertake investigation and provide resolution for application break-fix.
• Status/Project management reporting.
Communication scope
Identify the working relationships and contacts with whom this job must interact on a regular basis.
• As a senior team member, he/she will be in constant communication with the team to ensure tasks/projects are on track and issues are being escalated promptly.
• Vendor engagement and communication will be required to ensure the extended arm operates in tandem with in-house capabilities to ensure success for the overall delivery mechanism.
• He will have direct communication with stakeholders and application owners.
Experience required
• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business Studies or related discipline.
• 7 or more years of experience supporting applications or working in an operational/systems support role for the financial/insurance industry.
