The Job
In this role, you will gather requirements, create user stories and document business/data/application/technology architectures, requirements and business rules.
You will be responsible for :
- Preparing, facilitating, documenting client meetings/workshops research and analysis.
- Understanding client's business structures, process and objective of the Change / Transformation Management.
- Developing and evaluating procedures, controls, user requirements and functional specifications to identify gaps between current state and future state.
- Creating business requirement documents (BRD's) into use cases/functional specifications for customisation.
- Developing business process models/design, logical data models, standards and guidance.
- Documenting and explaining problems as well as resolving software defects, whilst ensuring technical compatibility and end user satisfaction.
- Understanding banking/financial institution and how change drives benefits for business, its customers and other stakeholders.
The Profile
- You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- You have at least 4 years of relevant experience with strong product and process knowledge.
- You possess Scrum Certifications and expertise in Agile.
- Prior experience in a functional role within a banking / financial institution environment and experience on projects from the business side will be an added advantage.
- You have experience within Loans/ Mortgage Business/ Insurance, Cards Business/ Retail/ Wealth banking/ Insurance/ Shared Services/ Commercial Banking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin, Cantonese and English is required to liaise with clients and internal teams
- You have good stakeholder management skills, especially impact communication, influencing and running project governance, implementation of change management and benefits realisation.
- You have good interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at working with multiple stakeholders to drive desired outcomes.
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
- You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
- You are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
