The Role Responsibilities
Strategy

  • Act as BA for Service Now and SME on ITSM.

  • The ServiceNow Business Analyst manages the requirements from Process/Product owners and work with the Solution design chapter, prepare user stories, manage backlogs, release coordination, prioritization, user onboarding and awareness, manage release strategy and assist in backlog grooming and sprint planning with the Dev squads.

  • The ServiceNow Business Analyst works with Solution design chapter for developing and implementing IT process automation, conducting design walkthrough workshops and performing analysis required to build respective modules within ServiceNow Platform, captures business requirements in a form of agile stories, coordinate testing of configured functionalities to facilitate release

  • Maintain release planning and notes


Business

  • Participates in requirement gathering, solution design, test and transition of Service Management and Platform Integration solution on ServiceNow platform

  • Performs in-depth data analysis to provide requirements for developers enabling configuration and decision making

  • Support the Biz acceptance testing by liaising with the stakeholders

  • Assists in gathering data for tool configuration, translate these into design model and manage the overall implementation process in cooperation with developers

  • Captures customer&rsquos and service providers&rsquo requirements into stories, assists to solution approach and manage the overall implementation process in coordination with solution/development/test chapters

  • Manage requirements traceability matrix / backlog

  • Support and create any necessary project documentation that relates to evidencing our requirements.

  • Followup on design / product defects / issues on ServiceNow Platform.


Processes

  • IT Service management processes viz. Service Desk/Incident/Problem/Change/Request/SLM/Availability/Service Portfolio mgmt.

  • Deep understanding on ServiceNow ITSM product suite &ndash ITOM/ITSM/ITBM modules and Service Portal


People and Talent

  • Familiarity & experience in IT Service Management Design, Transition and Operations processes

  • Experience in business analysis and configuration or administration of minimum 2+ modules of ServiceNow Platform

  • Understanding Scrum / Agile methodology

  • Expert organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise, self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders such as process/technical product owners and key consumers of the platform

  • Possess strong analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts,

  • Decompose high-level requirements into functional user stories for development

  • Facilitation skills to assist requirements gathering and empathetic

  • Experience in communicating across all levels of an organization


Risk Management

  • Identify operational risks and liaise with the risk mgmt. function for mitigation


Governance

  • Conduct periodic standup scrum meetings & ceremonies / facilitate inputs for refinement forums

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.   • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • Global IT process owners, Extended process practitioners from T&I domains, Product owners, Enterprise architecture teams, Risk & control team & Country technology mgmt


Other Responsibilities

  • Ensure colleagues are able to adopt to the new Releases, follow New ways of agile working methodology

  • ITIL Foundation

  • COBIT, IT4IT, Lean IT (optional)

  • Scrum certified / Agile Foundation (optional)

  • ServiceNow Fundamentals, Certified System Administrator (must have), ITSM/ITOM presales/micro-certification
