The Role Responsibilities
- Refining the vision/ strategy and drive %27our digital / data journey%27
- Perform the Product Owner role as part of the Agile delivery team; responsible for maximizing the business value of the product and be accountable for successful delivery
- Conduct research to see what%27s new and trending in the digital / data space internally and externally
- Facilitate and drive our business / data analyst groups to brainstorm new ideas
- Eliciting requirements from front facing staff %26amp; stakeholders across various business segments and product lines (Global Banking, Transaction Banking, Financial Markets, Capital Markets %26amp; Corporate Finance)
- Creating and maintaining a prioritized Product Backlog
- Clearly communicating priorities, sprint goals and acceptance criteria to the scrum team
- Defining user stories to facilitate clear communication of requirements to the scrum team, including %27definition of done%27.
- Act as a key player in the different events of the development cycle: daily scrums, team demos and retrospectives, SIT, UAT and sign-off from business stakeholders.
- Review test cases and evidence to ensure enough test coverage
- Ensuring submission of progress reports, benefits reports, red packs and closure reports to governance forums
- Responsible for tracking benefits realization and adoption on an ongoing basis
Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer or equivalent required; Master’s Degree Banking industry work experience in large-scale projects/programs with significant change impact and multiple dependencies within and across organizational boundaries. Prior Experience of working in a Project in Agile / SCRUM approach as a Product Owner/Business analyst with excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with all levels of an organization.Proven track record to tactically manage projects from inception thru to delivery. Good planning and forward-thinking skills.Ability to simultaneously execute multiple roles individually, including SCRUM Product Owner, SCRUM Master, PM/Business Analyst, Data Analyst.Ability to work within a team as well as direct a teamCapable and reliable in meeting tight schedules and deadlines as well as high attention to detail while maintaining clear customer expectations throughout the life cycle of a project/engagement.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Good organizational and documentation skills are essential.Strong data skillset, including SQL query building and/or BI analytics
Preferred but Not essentialHands on experience with Data analytics and Visualization tools Knowledge of Data Quality Management Framework.Working experience in the role of PEGA Business architect/System Architect.SCRUM Product Owner/Scrum Master certification
