The Role Responsibilities
  • The CSS Security Transformation Program is a core component of the Bank-wide ICS Transformation & Remediation Program and are the primary mechanism for delivering major change into the Services across CSS.
  • Cyber Defence Centre & Security Monitoring Program is one of the 5 core themes being managed across 4 Transformation Programmes. Enhance Security Logging & Monitoring coverage and use case sophistication, uplift the Threat Intelligence feed coverage and implement new capabilities to support the Cyber Defence Centre and improve its effectiveness through orchestration and automation.

Risk Management
  • Prioritise the protection of the Bank's most critical assets by leveraging threat led and risk based decision making. Manage risk through the accurate, timely and transparent management of audit, risk and regulatory commitments.

  • CSS has established the governance forums to ensure appropriate management oversight for Service Delivery, Risk and Regulation, Change and Production Stability, Standards and Architecture and the Security Transformation change programs.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the ITO, Technology Services, Security Technology Services to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients Effective Financial Markets Financial Crime Compliance The Right Environment.] *
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • Security Monitoring and Analytic, Security Production Support, Cyber Defence Centre

Other Responsibilities
  • Liaise with End User Services - Identify & Access Management, Mainframe Centre of Excellence, Automation and Infrastructure Delivery teams

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or related field
  • 8-10 years experience in technology-driven role, or technology development, testing and deployment
  • Previous experience in Business or Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance. Experience in delivering cyber security solution will be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
  • Experience in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Experience with Visio, test plan/cases/strategy development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Uses best practices and understanding of internal and/or external business issues to improve service.
  • Candidate should have a track record of rapidly learning and mastering new technologies with the resources at hand, whether or not formal training is immediately available.
  • Able to get things done in a fast-paced environment. Be transparent and open around what doesn't work and what does.
  • Excellent communication skills - oral, written and presentation technical reporting writing across various types of target audiences.
