Why does this job exist and why is it critical​
The role will contribute to the organisation's revenue and growth efforts by identifying new product or service propositions specific to the Gaming sector. Reporting to the Head of Consumer IoT & Gaming, the individual should be able to provide ideas and support the development of a strategy roadmap that will encompass a myriad of future monetization opportunities to achieve a clear and definitive ambition for the sector, engage & secure relevant partners & alliances to deliver to the strategy, narrate the supporting value propositions and develop business cases for internal buy-in. On an ongoing basis, the role will also include partnership management and the responsibility to handle related day-to-day operational matters.
What are you accountable for
  • Stay abreast of developments in industry ecosystem including trends, newsflow, players, products and services.
  • Build industry leads and contacts to explore new business opportunities.
  • Act as the main point of contact to manage, maintain and follow-up on partner relationships and conversations.
  • Support the end-to-end partnership process from conceptualisation through to securing approvals and implementation.
  • Build business cases and financial projections to support proposals
  • Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company and relationships with internal support teams.
  • Ensure service quality and performance of partnerships
  • Handle admin matters for the team.
  • Ensure the company guidelines and procedures are adhered to.
  • Keep abreast of the current state of the business, current state of the overall industry, growth prospects and competitor developments as well as, business economics and technology requirements of product propositions and offers.

What do you need to have for this role

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing and other relevant disciplines.

  • Candidates with 3-5 years work experience in a business or partnership developer role in Gaming fields are encouraged to apply. Alternatively, candidates who have experience managing a product P&L with business development remit attached to it.

  • Must possess strong customer service skills.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills.

  • Must have financial modelling and cashflow projections skills.

  • Must have good negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be detail-oriented, diligent and possess good problem-solving skills.

  • Must be resourceful and independent.

  • Must have ability to work under pressure and possess a sense of urgency.
