Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
. Strategize and develop the Asia Pacific business's strategic objectives through maximizing
profitability of existing contracts and cultivating key revenue growth strategies, tactics and action plans to increase client's income.
. Cultivate strategic business relationship with existing and prospective clients, through value creating strategies, high performance standards and work culture, to sustain Client's credibility and reputation as a global brand whilst maintaining its competitive advantage.
. Champion the winning formula of the overall contracting strategies, when participating in bid and
project proposals, whilst ensuring Client's risks and exposures are adequately mitigated.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
. Facilitate Business Development, Marketing, Bid and Contracting strategies, to drive a Client's
compliance Value Propositions to the Clients and relevant Stakeholders.
. Develop Asia Pacific business's initiatives to position client as a preferred and reliable Offshore
Floating Solution Provider, able to be at par or above the industry players.
. Grow and Implement the Business Development, Client Management, Bid & Contract Management
and Market Research activities to meet the desired business growth objectives.
. Identify and Ratify strategic issues to reduce or avoid any potential impact on the Client's growth and profitability.
. Organize Asia Pacific initiatives to penetrate new markets i.e. via strategic alliances via partnership,
joint-venture, merger and acquisition, or any other best fit business structure.
. Build and sustain relationships with relevant senior Government authorities and agencies, industry
players, non-governmental organizations, business communities and service providers to keep
abreast with latest developments in the business and political environment, national policies, market
trends, emerging issues and threats and opportunities.
. Lobby for projects that are strategically fit to the Client's business, ensuring its winning advantages
against other players, whilst safeguarding Client's interests at all times. Disseminate the right
information to related parties within the government, regulatory bodies and key stakeholders.
. Enhance Client's brand to strengthen the presence at both domestic and international level via speaking engagement, participation of international conferences and technical workshops.
REQUIREMENTS
. At least 15 years of working experience with working experience in business development and/or marketing in the oil and gas industry.
. Experience in engineering, operations or techno-commercial of offshore projects is an added advantage.
. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or
equivalent.
. Masters in Science (M.Sc.) or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or any related professional qualification is an additional advantage.
