The Primary Roles :
Build new business for new market segments or existing segments:
- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
- Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners and discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, understand the business requirements (customer's needs) , potential and financial requirements.
- Evaluate options, resolving internal priorities according to focus areas and recommend investments as relevant.
- Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations, examining risks and potentials, estimating partner's needs and goals.
- Closes new deals by coordinating requirements and submission of business proposals.
Deliverables:
- Prepare and produce upstream proposals, details proposals, tenders, cover letter, executive summary and high-level business papers and correspondence documents. Coordinate meetings to gather inputs with other teams or vendors to produce the documents.
- High-level charging/costing and pricing strategy.
- Sales pipeline of 5 times sales quota.
- Customer's Budget Paper/Masterplan document.
- Presentation slides.
- Opportunity Assessment which include Business Risk Assesment.
