Job Description

  • Analyze and formalize user’s business requirements and processes into project specifications

  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements that encompass the end-to-end IT ecosystem

  • Translate business requirements into business process documents that encompass the end-to-end business workflows

  • Conduct gap analysis of current processes to identify improvement opportunities (where required)

  • Understand the strengths and weaknesses of both eTOM and ITIL® and demonstrate capability in applying both appropriately, bridging the gaps between them.

  • Assess and provide the future state process flows to suit the future operating model with improvements, benefits and potential area for new revenue (including automation opportunity)

  • Identify and raise the potential opportunity during the assessment and development stage

  • Support and analyze reported issues/service requests and perform escalation if required

  • Define the various business group ‘cross-functional’ user requirements and prepare the functional specifications that capture the manner by which work is to be executed, and by whom (function/process owner)

  • Work with the internal stakeholders to transfer business process knowledge and intent for the purpose of supporting operation readiness

  • Manage and collaborate with internal service providers such as Business Process Consultants and Business Solutions / Systems Integrators that are engaged to develop, procure and implement the business processes and IT applications and systems that will be required for the effective management of business

  • Contribute to the deployment of the business processes, IT applications and systems

  • Regularly monitor the IT application and systems effectiveness in meeting end user requirements and manage any changes required during the end to end process

  • Working with Business process consultants ,Product Manager for specific products and/or system capabilities.

  • Prepare user business process documents ,requirement specification documents , user manual and operations manual.

  • Ability to produce specifications for documentations and implementations

Requirements

  • Degree in Business IT, Computing Science, Engineering or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in leading/being a part of organizational change, business process management including business needs assessments, business process engineering or re-engineering, quality/change improvements.

  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, etc.

  • Understands Telco supporting business automation, products releases and day to day business operation

  • Familiar with standard frameworks such as ITIL, TMF SID, eTOM and TAM

  • Experience with one of the common ITSM ticketing systems (Remedy, ServiceNow, etc..,)

  • Knowledge in fixed service provider products (MetroE, L2/L3 , Internet services, Managed Network/Security, DCI, IEPL etc.,)

  • Experience in creating end-to-end process flows for one of the FAB Cycles (FAB: Fulfillment, Assurance and Billing) o Ex. Opportunity-to-Cash, Problem-to-Solve, Usage-to-Bill, Change Management, Problem Management

  • Solid domain knowledge on BSS applications - which include portals, CRM, Billing, Order management with deep domain knowledge in portal/CRM.

  • Experience in creating user documents, SOPs, training materials and training

  • Knowledge of the telecom industry and business processes (ETOM, ITIL)

  • Strong Communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to engage stakeholder effectively
