We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Partner / Sales Support in our Medical Devices Sales Team
Your key responsibilities
Receive, prioritise and process sales briefings received from the business development team
Prepare client correspondence including quotation and associated contract documents
Receive, prioritise, verify and process client applications
To work with the business development team and delivery team to effectively manage the quotation approval process and associated queries to improve the services provided to clients
Process fully approved client applications (sales packs) to operations team for delivery
To receive and handle incoming phone calls, emails and manage departmental inboxes
To work with sales support team leader to agree, plan, implement initiatives and monitor quality of work and key performance indicators
Adopt a collaborative team approach to working within own group and other teams/functions within the department and other areas of the business
Provide general administration support to the business development department as requested by the management team
To provide support and training to the global sales support administration team as required
Undertake specific project work as required
Any other duties which can reasonably be expected within the scope of this role
At BSI we refer to our Sales Support as Business Development Partners because you'll partner closely with the sales team to provide administrative commercial support. You'll engage with our clients and establish partnerships with them and across our organisation. Hybrid working style.
On a typical day you'll receive and prioritize sales briefings from the business development team. You'll also manage the quotation approval process, respond to incoming phone calls, and manage the departmental inboxes.
You'll also be responsible for drafting quotations and ensuring they're accurate, providing prompt responses to client enquiries and be an advocate for BSI.
To succeed in this career, you must:
Be able to speak and write fluently in both English and Local languages
Be able to demonstrate your experience of supporting a commercial team with administrative tasks
Have experience using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to complete daily tasks
Communicate confidently using business English (spoken and written)
Have experience using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to complete tasks e.g. Salesforce
Take pride in your customer service and complaint resolution skills
Be resilient when under pressure and have a solution orientated mindset
Prefer to life science background.
