  • Operating for Lunch and dinner.
  • Lunch menu to emphasis Sichuan dumplings and plated food
  • Dinner menu to focus on Sichuan hotpot and plated food.
  • Pork free environment.

JOB SUMMARY
Accountable for the quality, consistency and production of the restaurant kitchen. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Coordinates menus, purchasing, staffing and food preparation for the property's restaurant. Works with team to improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved. Develops and trains team to improve results. Reports to Executive Chef
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
  • 6-8 years’ experience in a good quality Sichuan restaurant in a 5 Star hotel.
  • Creative and loves what he does.
  • Knowledgeable of authentic Sichuan food preparations.
  • Ability to recruit, train and develop local associates.
  • Ability to select and order operating Supplies and Equipment
  • Work with the project team to set up the kitchen
  • Have knowledge of specialized equipment operations
  • Pre opening experience essential.
  • Very good knowledge of Dumplings, hotpot and Sichuan food plates.
  • Creative and can provide good value for money.
  • Adequate communication skills and some English speaking skills will be a great asset.
