ABOUT
Evolution, All Day Dining Restaurant located at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel. 150 seater. Operates for breakfast for in house guests. Post breakfast the restaurant to develop its own identity as a Modern Australian Cuisine restaurant, with 60-70 seats, operating for Lunch and Dinner.
Expected Re-opening date: 1st July 2021
JOB SUMMARY
Accountable for the quality, consistency and production of the restaurant kitchen. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Coordinates menus, purchasing, staffing and food preparation for the property's restaurant. Works with team to improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved. Develops and trains team to improve results.

Education and Experience
  • Creative, fun loving, willing to experiment with food.
  • Pleasant easy going personality, able to get along with people and be able to lead from the front and be a role model.
  • An outgoing personality as the chef will be the face of this restaurant and will be marketed and promoted along with the restaurant.
  • Able to recruit, train and lead local team, enthusiastic and loves what he/she does.
  • The Chef will be the face of the restaurant and will be extensively marketed along with the restaurant so as to position as a leading Modern Australian Cuisine and build a following in the city.
  • Appreciate for any chef who has passion for delivering quality food with focus on ingredients, cooking styles, wholesome food reflecting.
  • Australian style, taste, spirit of adventure and a way of life.
  • Casual dining, creative and connected with the land to use the best available local vegetables and fruits, quality imported meats from Australian farms.
  • Opportunity to stamp his/her style on the menu and the restaurant.
  • A position which will assist a young buddying Chef who would like to make a mark on the international circuit and also to build his/her professional reputation
  • Appropriate culinary school training, related experience in standalone restaurants. Familiar with Australian produce and suppliers of fine meats.
  • Able to produce quality food in port free environment
  • Culinary skills focused on bring out the natural flavors of the food, simplistic cooking methods. Menus items reflecting a healthy lifestyle. Marriage of Asian spices reflecting the multi-cultural society of Australia
