Responsibilities
The role:

  • The Country Human Resources Site Lead implements practices and activities of the Human Resources Management (HRM) Office in Malaysia, leading a full spectrum of HR activities linked to organizational goals and objectives.
  • Business Partnering
  • Provides advice and direction to Leadership Team as part of the local management team member on employee relations matters
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with company management. Works closely, partners and provides advice to regional or country senior leadership functions.
  • Country compliance and governance for the geographical coverage
  • Talent Acquisition & Management
  • Developing recruiting strategies and hiring plans for Malaysia
  • Lead employment branding initiatives in consideration of the efficiencies and effectiveness of hiring activities while encouraging positive candidate experience.
  • Employee Communication & Relation
  • Ensure HR matters handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company’s requirements
  • Handle complains, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings
  • HR Representative for cross-functional site events: facility integration, CSR (corp. social responsibility
  • HR Policy and process
  • Responsible for Malaysia HR policies/processes establishment and maintenance, with related SOP and SOX control.
