The Job

In this role, you will be responsible for leading features for clients in Malaysia and managing expansion efforts. You will be expected to juggle multiple tasks of varying priority and ensure that all contributions lead to the increasing strength and growth of the organisation
You will be responsible for:
  • Strategising plans to develop business, achieve sales goals and ultimately maintain profitability
  • Developing sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
  • Be a key stakeholder in the development and implementation of country-specific go to market strategy
  • Conducting sales team meetings and reporting to the International Business Ops, Sales Director and VP of Sales
  • Generating leads and developing prospects for Commercial Partnership opportunities
  • Understanding and providing category-specific landscapes and trends as well as reporting market-specific insights.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Sales Executives
  • Developing infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
  • Leading multifunctional work with different business teams
  • Performing research and identifying new potential customers and market opportunities, ensuring sales pipelines is healthy
  • Providing timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
  • Liaising with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
  • Keeping abreast of new product launches and ensuring sales team members are on board
  • Building key international strategic expansion with teamwork
  • Setting up timelines to produce quarterly/monthly business performance reports and sales forecasts

The Profile
  • You have at least 2 years experience ideally as Country Head with prior experience in a B2B sales/ account management role, ideally within the Media & Entertainment industry.
  • Experience within Social Media/ Viral Marketing, Content Development & Management would be a strong advantage.
  • You hold yourself to delivering highest standards of customer service
  • You have the ability to develop engaging content for a wide range of audiences.
  • You are a creative marketing professional, preferably with a strong content creation and writing background.
  • You have strong judgement, analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are passionate about people and culture
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder
  • You are reliable with patience and professionalism
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
  • You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
