We areseeking a Digital Music Manager who is passionate about the changing music ecosystem, technology and supporting our business strategy. This role will focus on strategy and negotiations with major local music labels in Indonesia, as well as collaborate with our product, legal, and media partnerships teams to ensure a coordinated and best-in-class licensing structure. This position is located in Indonesia.
Responsibilities
Lead negotiations and business development for content and / or music acquisitions in Indonesia, including deal terms, as well as commercial monetization agreements with music labels, publishers and PROs.
Develop, coordinate and manage relationships with key music partners focused on growth activities.
Develop and execute label, publisher, and society licensing strategy, working closely cross team with product, legal, operations, marketing, promotional and publicity leads
Effectively leverage data analysis around content performance, establishing payment models, and audience to research and identify business opportunities and effectively communicate findings with key stakeholders to execute plans quickly
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in content licensing, music and / or content acquisition, licensing and partner management
Preferred experience: business development, strategy and deal negotiation at digital departments of global label companies
Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a rapidly changing environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Eager for challenges and opportunities, rapid learner with entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate ability to think strategically and creatively about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
Be able to work across multiple time zones
