Job Description

 Client Background:A multi-award winning FinTech company specialising in the provision of subscription payments. Company operates over a diverse range of industries and has offices in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia. It processes payments via direct debit and all major cards with global payment processing capacity across 30 countries worldwide.
Location: KL
Tenure: Permanent
Remuneration: Basic, Allowance, Insurance, Medical, Bonus & more.
•Analyse business performance and market conditions to create revenue forecasts.
•Responsible for operational metrics and tracking revenue performance against forecasts to assist senior management to make tactical and strategic decisions.
•Provide business acumen for report building, perform analysis and modelling to identify opportunities for performance improvements.
•Head up and manage trust reconciliation projects. Review daily and monthly trust bank reconciliations and ensure figures are accurate.
•Perform merchant cost analysis and provide trends and forecasts. Maintain commercial knowledge of acquiring bank/payment facilitator fees and charges. Build and manage relationships with banks/payment facilitators.
•Prepare and review periodic plans, including, budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure.
•Assist in preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for the management team. Analyse and provide commentary on relevant account movements.
•Support the audit and compliance team to ensure all statutory reportings are done in a timely manner.
•Ensure financial compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
•Lead a small team responsible for AR, AP, and GL functions.
•2IC to the Finance Director
•10 years of professional experience, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role (banking and/or payments experience considered favorably)
•Degree qualified or completion of CMA, CPA or CA
•Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely desirable
•Experienced and motivated working in fast-paced, high energy environments with specific experience in multi-national businesses
•Experience in Oracle Financials (preferred) or other management accounting software
•A hands on approach and result oriented
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
