Description
Accounting
. To perform intercompany processes, including recording payments, managing refunds, arranging for withholding tax and preparing and resolving reconciliation
. To perform month end close for holding company, and in the future to scale up to larger entities
. In-charge to report and to compile the survey and statistic information for MITI, MIDA, Central Bank, Statistic Unit, BNM and other Government authority departments.
Systems
. Key user to ensure conferral and withdrawal of Limit of Authority Signature to users within Continental Tyre Group, including quarterly reviewing the accuracy of the information.
. In-charge of Continental Entity Management System (CEMS), coordinating to get relevant information and reports to be maintained in CEMS accurately by the deadline.
. To ensure corporate agreements & all other legal documents for the finance department comply to the 4 eyes principles and are in proper order signed by the directors, and duly signed copies are scanned and kept in Contract Management System (CMS).
. In-charge of all Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Works Instruction (WI) and Policies are maintained in Process Oriented Management System (POMS), follow-up renewal periodically. Finance POMS coordinator.
Liaison with CFO and Board of Directors
. To assist CFO for team meetings and off-sites meetings.
. To assist CFO in establishing surveys and distribute questionnaire.
. Coordinate and give instruction to Company Secretary to prepare director resolutions.
. To review draft resolution as per the requirement of Management with the Company Secretary
. Coordinate with Company Secretary to ensure all companies under Continental Tyre Malaysia adhere to the latest act/regulation of Companies Commission of Malaysia.
. Liaise with auditors to prepare audit verification letters to solicitors on any outstanding legal cases and to follow-up with solicitors and provide solicitors replies to auditors on yearly basis.
. Dispatch & filing of agreement after execution by all parties & stamping process
Team work
. Participate in stock counts
. Comply to the Record Retention Act/Policy
.To establish written SOP for Finance upon request from the superior within your scope of work
. Inspect effectiveness of active process improvement initiatives and make useful recommendations
. Contribute to ad hoc assignment / reporting.
Qualifications
. Bachelors Degree in Finance / Accounting / Banking or any related fields, or professional financial qualification (eg, ACCA, CIMA, etc)
. Significant experience in Company Secretarial duties or in Finance Department's administrative and accounting functions.
. Able to understand the requirement of relevant rules & regulations of corporate secretarial matters. Familiar with record & retention procedure & general legal matters.
. Self-driven, meticulous individual with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
. Prior exposure in a multi-national company or large corporate environment is an added advantage.
. Good English language skills (written & spoken).
