Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE :
Responsible for the design, development and plan the management, maintenance and improvement of the AV/TELCO equipment, systems and other services to ensure that they meet the needs of the stakeholders
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :
  • Supervise the operations of AV/TELCO equipment and manpower for setup and operation of AV/TELCO system and provide technical input and guidance forAV/TELCO equipment and systems in day to day operation.
  • Consolidate, review and prepare report on performance of action plans, business plan and projects as well as service report from vendors to ensure achievement of performance targets and SLA.
  • Supervise and validate the completion of work done by vendors based on the agreed scope and standards and ensure safety regulations are met and comply to policy, guidelines, procedures and SOP.
  • Develop proposal based on technology plan and design of overall implementation of a new equipment or system or improvement to current system and equipment.
  • Propose strategic recommendations for any requirements for upgrade and up keep of the Bank’s audio visual and telecommunication system to meet the Bank’s standard.
  • Manage the procurement activities from business approval, tendering process, evaluation and assessment of proposal as well as development of contract documentations.
  • Manage all administrative matters relating to administration, budgetary controls and planning and payment process and ensure that adhere to the Bank’s approved policy and guideline.
  • Keep abreast with the latest development of AV/TELCO systems, telecommunication and office equipment technology to be able to provide technical advise with regard to building services in the Bank.

  • Able to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor in high pressured situations.
  • Effective supervision and training of team to operate AV systems, telecommunication and office equipments effectively.
  • Good understanding of integration between IT and AV systems.
  • Good understanding of stakeholders’ requirements and needs for AV, telecommunication and office equipment related.
  • Very strong customer relationship building skills and commitment to service excellence

KEY CHALLENGES

  • Managing high expectation of the various stakeholders.
  • Able to work under pressure and be able to work after office hours, odd hours as well as during public holidays in order to utilise them for the benefit of the Bank.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Academic Qualifications : Degree with electronic or professional audio and video engineering from recognised institutions approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
  • Good command of verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Experience : 3-5 years in video streaming, content management system, scheduling software, remote control integration system, audio and video system & telecommunication
