About the role
Under the guidance and supervision of the Administrative Analyst, the Driver/ Administrative Clerk provides support to administrative services ensuring high quality of work, ensures accurate, timely and properly recorded/documented service delivery. The Driver/Administrative Clerk promotes a client, quality and results-oriented approach.
The Driver/Administrative Clerk provides reliable and safe driving services to UNDP GSSC staff and other high-ranking UN officials and visitors ensuring highest standards of discretion and integrity, sense of responsibility, excellent knowledge of protocol and security issues. The Driver/Administrative Clerk also demonstrates a client-oriented approach, courtesy, tact and ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
Upon request of the supervisor, the Driver /Administrative Clerk can also be required to provide driving services to the operations staff in the GSSU, Consultants and Experts and UN staff on mission.
The Driver/ Administrative Clerk works in close collaboration with the staff of the GSSU, the operations staff in the CO and other UN agencies staff to exchange information and ensure consistent service delivery.
