We are seeking a dynamic individual A high caliber accounting specialist to join Zebra Global Finance Shared Services organization, he/ she is responsible to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial statements for assigned entities in APAC region. He/ She must be driven and able to make an impact in our businesses besides providing excellent finance service delivery to the organization.

Reporting to Accounting Supervisor, he/she will be accountable for key functional scope while establishing, documenting, and working with team on applying accounting processes and procedures.


You will play an important role in:

  • Managing daily general accounting activities
  • Performing month-end closing activities and preparing financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and other accounting statements and participates in regional financial statement reviews
  • Preparing and maintaining records of all general ledger accounts and all monthly and quarterly journal entries necessary for monthly close; monthly account reconciliation and investigates reconciling items
  • Maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., U.S. GAAP, SOX, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures and local regulations)
  • Leading and driving US and statutory accounting GAAP compliance, conversant in IFRS and US GAAP and the respective impacts to statutory accounting
  • Cooperating closely with other departments – AR, AP, Payroll, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, etc
  • Responsible for all statutory filings (annual accounts, direct and indirect tax returns, statistics, etc.), and coordinating the approach with external service providers
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors, preparing the audit timing plan, owns the end-to-end audit process
  • Contributing to projects and company initiatives, or ad hoc assignments

Key Skills we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance and/ or other related field
  • Professional qualification (eg, ACCA/ CPA) is an added advantage
  • 2-3 years of working experience, preferably in an accounting firm and/ or MNC
  • Knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing will be an added advantage (although not compulsory)
  • Excellent communication skills and proficient in both written and oral, English and Mandarin languages (must have)
  • Good time and workload management, able to meet strict deadlines with quality output
  • Experience with systems and applications such as Oracle, MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint), PowerBI, Blackline is an added advantage
