Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Plan and manage day to day warehouse and shipping activities
• Assist management in achieving the department and company objectives
• Ensure the materials / equipment & resources are effectively utilised
• Analyse and resolve shipment, planning and logistic problems
• Initiative & innovative in process testing & improvements
• Investigate causes, initiate & implement effective corrective actions for non-conforming processes & products
• Participate actively in TQC activities
• Set Departmental Quality Objective and ensure it is understood and implemented at all levels
• Train & lead the FGS and Shipping team towards the department and company objective
• Provide training and guidance to subordinates whenever necessary
• Plan and propose overhead budget and capital investment.
• Internal Quality Auditor and Management Review Team member for ISO 9002 Quality Management system
• Manage and develop your team
• Monitor the actual delivery accordance to shipment schedule
• Provide database of production data for all related production areas
• Highlight production inefficiency that affects productivity and delivery
Requirements :
• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Warehouse or its equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of experience
• Independent and good decision making
• Interpersonal savvy - interact with all levels of staff at inter departmental level
• Ensure good housekeeping & safe working environment.
