Job Description

  • To be part of the applications development team responsible for analysing, designing, developing, testing and implementing Group Risk Management Department systems related projects/CRs
  • To follow up with the relevant parties include vendor to ensure solution to all incidents encountered proactively.

Key Responsibilities *
  • Liases with business users to define functional requirements
  • Ensure proper documentation of all development to facilitate future maintenance and enhancements
  • Ensure compliance full SDLC processes.
  • Ensure admended and enhanced applications meet user functional requirements.
  • Implementation, level 2 support and maintainance of applications assigned
  • Response for system analysis, system design, application development, report generation, amendment and ehancement for applications assigned by team lead.
  • Build appropriate controls into business application softwareto ensure the stability, security and reliability.
  • Provide expert advice for best solution in applications support and projects enhancement.
  • Prioritization and assignment of tasks for development and implementation.
  • Decision on technical approach to be use to address applications enhancements.

Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure that all application operations and projects are in compliance with the Group, Local and Regional regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (eg. MAS, SG, etc.) and external auditors.

(Basic Degree/Diploma etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering or other related field.

Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements
Relevant Work Experience
  • 1- 3 years of experience of elevant banking background in established bank / financial institutions.
  • 1 – 3 years of SQL programming.

Technical/Functional Skills
  • Good with a programming languages, concepts and technologies., including, Window Batch Scripting, Microsoft ASP.NET, Microsoft VB.NET, Visual Basic (VB), SQL, SSIS, Stored Procedure, DOS Script.
  • Experience in adopting tools for development during code review, build/packaging process and etc.
  • Familiar with MSSQL databases.
  • Familiar with Visual Studio, Microsoft Office application, Microsoft Project and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Working knowledge of the general software development landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
  • Good understanding of the full development life cycle.
  • Organisational awareness and ability follow process & procedures

Personal Skills
  • Analytical ability to identify problems and arrive at practical solutions.
  • Display drive to ensure projects/initiatives are delivered in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Good in problem solving skill and work independent
