Job Description


Assist in setting up, performing and monitoring application configuration for CRM systems and related ecosystems in accordance with business requirements and CIMB Group’s established project and delivery management and SDLC methodology, processes and standards, Enterprise Architecture standards, IT governance and policies including Information Security, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning framework, applicable regulatory requirements and auditors.
Key Responsibilities *
  1. Assist in designing and developing configuration requirements and appropriate documents based on technical requirements and needs.
  2. Perform system configuration and production support based on the configurations with Siebel CRM systems and related ecosystems.
  3. Prepare Unit Test script and perform unit testing before releasing for Functional, Integration/ System Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing.
  4. Plan, support, execute and monitor batch processing, application patches, systems administration and configurations as assigned.
  5. Review change and service requests, perform systems impact assessment relating to the requests and report findings and recommendations to mitigate/ minimise identified risks and impact.
  6. Resolve environment problems and suggest environment modifications to support system needs.
  7. Monitor, maintain and assist with applications, databases, data, and batch processes for optimal performance.
  8. Participate in code reviews and perform fixes on defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
  9. Configure automated system alerts for pro-active monitoring of the systems performance and availability as part of the quality assurance activities.
  10. Participate in testing process including Functional, Integration/ System Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing as needed.
  11. Troubleshoot configuration failures and issues in a timely manner.
  12. Review and report on any system configuration issues and recommend viable changes or solutions to configuration management processes.
  13. Develop an understanding of the functional impact of various configuration options and recommend process improvements to automate and streamline build processes.
  14. Support quality assurance process audits and other audits relating to system configuration.
  15. Prepare and provide configuration status for relevant stakeholders on a timely basis.
  16. Actively participate in and contribute to the improvement of IT operations, processes as well as share best practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications
(Basic Degree/Diploma etc)
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements
Relevant Work Experience
  • Minimum 2 – 6 years of Siebel CRM systems configuration in large commercial, service-based or vendor organisation or financial institution
  • Background in IT infrastructure, network, software development and/or security
