Why does this job exist and why is it critical​
Channel Support:
  • Work as part of the GTM team & take charge of developing and implementing programs for sales channels.
  • Together with the GTM team, deliver effective GTM of new products and services to the market covering all Maxis products - Fibre, Postpaid, SME. Taking product and program launches from segment and business owners into channels via a structured GTM process, starting from involvement in product conceptualisation to end-to-end roll out i.e. development of go to market plan, sales pitch to consumers & frontliners, & continuous channel communications/motivations
  • Close collaboration with other departments to ensure product & programs to be rolled out is relevant to customers needs - easy to understand, easy to sell & easy to buy
  • Assist channels to develop more efficient work flow especially in conjunction with the product roll out, & continuously develop channel programs to support and motivate channels to drive sales

Trade Program development
  • Drive periodic review of campaign performance and profitability, monitoring channel productivity, product performance, and provide recommendations for changes where necessary
  • Work closely with the rest of the team mates & respective sales channel, understanding the needs & support needed to improve funnel efficiency to drive sales
  • Continuous liaison with dealers & frontliners to get input/ feedback. Provide motivation through channel programs to motivate the trade & frontliners to adopt new ways of working, to drive acquisition for Maxis Postpaid combined with other converged products as well as driving adoption of other value added services, ensuring our commercial objectives are met
