Bring your career aspirations to life with AIA!Responsible for overall operational excellence of the agency business middle and back office functions i.e. agency compensation, registration and movement, agency events, agency incentive travel, business quality, asset management and procurement in support of the Company's profitability and sustainable growth objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overall planning and implementation of Agency Distribution tactical operational functions to support short, medium and long-term market / agency expansion initiatives in line with company's strategy, in line with the service delivery standards, with minimal errors and audit findings
  • Identify, plan and execute continuous process optimization across all critical areas of Agency Compensation, Licensing, Business Quality and Governance (complain management, fraud management, Market Conduct Committee) and Agency Helpdesk by leveraging process enhancements, technology and other means to add substantial value and enhance overall efficiency of the department to support the company's strategy
  • Develop, periodically review and own all Agency operational procedures, standards including the necessary handbooks relating to Agency Compensation, Agency Office OM, communicate to all internal and external stakeholders, conduct audits to ensure that the procedures and standards are adhered to and develop intervening actions where necessary
  • Provide strategic direction to design, plan and execute impactful nationwide and regional agency related events, including both live and virtual events in support of the sales strategy to drive activation and production
  • Partner with Agency campaign and contest team to identify, plan and execute first mover, attractive and impactful incentive travel and rewards for the Agency force, balancing between cost efficiency and attractiveness of the rewards to support the achievement of the sales strategy and drive activation. This includes conducting reconnaissance trips, focus groups, negotiations with travel partners / reward vendors in developing the plan
  • Provide financial assessment and analysis on Agency Distribution assets and expenses, including the procurement and management of Agency assets (including Agency offices) and identify opportunities and develop action plans in support of the company's business goals
  • Ensure business quality of the Agency Distribution channel through predictive modeling to identify potential misconduct and fraud, proper enforcement and governance of agency policies and represent Agency Distribution in Market Conduct Committee
  • Build strong rapport with all internal and external stakeholders and functions to ensure effective support and feedback to achieve business targets

Min Job Requirements
  • Degree in business or related fields of study
  • More than 10 years of experience in financial industry or commercial organisations
  • Result-driven, versatile with experience in creating operational efficiencies and process improvements
  • Experience in short, medium and long term planning with exposure in a broad spectrum of business operations
  • Strong team leadership in managing large teams and stakeholder management skills
