Transaction Banking Sales – BBSME comprises of Cash, Trade and FX offering solutions to BBSME clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs. This position will work closely with CFS, GM, Regional Offices, cash and trade product teams as well as client service & implementation team to provide seamless and cost-effective solutions to customers. This position will be reporting to Head of Transaction Banking – Malaysia.
Responsibilities :
Lead TB’s BBSME Sales team;
Acquire and increase client base. Drive cash, trade and FX businesses to deliver the revenue targets to meet the overall TB business objectives;
Work with CFS team to account plan to target prospective clients and to increase/ defend the TB wallet share of assigned clients. Constant monitoring and reviewing of cash and trade portfolios;
Continuously engage Product Management and Client Services & Implementation teams to regularly review the account plans arising from clients’ evolving business requirements;
Continuously engage clients to keep abreast of their evolving business priorities, as well as their working capital and treasury management practices to proactively position TB capabilities to these changes;
Follow industry trends locally and internationally. Stay updated on the industry/ sector, competitive and regulatory landscapes to enable proactive advisory/ engagement with clients;
Participate in CFS clients engagement events and drive digital engagement across TB franchise to support clients’ and TB digital agendas;
Actively manage deal pipeline.
Requirements :
Candidate should ideally have 10 years working experience in Sales, no less than 5 years in leading sales team / pillar with strong understanding of BBSME business segment;
Good knowledge in BBSME related-products including Cash, FX and/or Trade Finance;
Good rapport-building, networking and communication skills with experience in engaging clients at the regional and/or group decision-maker level;
Proven ability to work and collaborate across functions;
Effective in forging solid partnerships with colleagues and the ability to interact comfortably with senior colleagues across the organization;
Degree or Masters degree in Business Management, Finance or related field.
