The Role Responsibilities

  • The Technology & Innovation (T&I) Vendor Management team enables the bank to control costs, drive service delivery and mitigate risks to ensure the bank extracts the full value from their Third party engagements throughout the contract lifecycle.

  • The T&I Vendor Management team support all contract owners and provide management with the required oversight of all Third party engagements by providing Contract Management, Performance Management, Financial Management, Relationship Management, Governance, Risk & Third Party Management, Document Management and Service Request Management services and support.

  • The Head Third Party Risk, Governance and Projects is responsible for third party governance and risk management and reporting across T&I. They will own the T&I Third Party Risk Standard and act as a single point of contact for Third Party Risk Management, associated Risk Group owners and T&I process owners. In addition, they will be responsible for leading all Third party related audit, regulatory and risk responses and projects across T&I.


Strategy

  • Support process owners to identify, manage and mitigate third party risk, including the amplification of risk and the implementation of additional controls, monitoring and reporting metrics

  • Be an active member of the Risk Group forums to ensure that the third party risk requirements are represented appropriately


Business

  • Define SLAs for monitoring supplier performance, dashboard reporting and escalation

  • Manage the Strategic supplier programme for T&I, includes review of existing framework, identifying gaps, and implementing any changes


Processes

  • Ensure all T&I third party engagements adhere to the Group Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Policy and Standards and provide regular reporting to senior management

  • Engage with TPRM team, associate risk groups and T&I process owners to ensure Third Party reports are available to the senior management teams in a timely manner.

  • Support Supplier Managers to ensure that they adhere to the group vendor governance framework throughout the lifecycle of vendor contracts

  • Tracking and reporting of strategic vendor management activities, including spend analysis and quarterly balanced score cards

  • Represent T&I / GSC at relevant committees and forums. Ensure that timely updates are provided to committees and key stakeholders, proactively following up and being forward looking.


Risk Management

  • Ensure all T&I third party engagements adhere to the Group Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Policy and Standards and provide regular reporting to senior management

  • Responsible for the T&I Third Party Risk Standard (and associated responsibilities) and act as a single point of contact for Third Party Risk Management, associated Risk Group owners and T&I process owners.

  • Represent T&I / GSC at relevant committees and forums. Ensure that timely updates are provided to committees and key stakeholders, proactively following up and being forward looking.


Governance

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Desired education - Bachelor&rsquos degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.

  • At least 14-18 years with Commercial, Finance, Sales, Procurement/Supply Chain, Contract Management and/or IT project delivery background with proven track record of business management, reporting and stakeholder management

  • Proven working experience in Project Management with strong organisational skills

  • Experience working in an IT environment, emerging technologies and IT standards, policies and procedures and project management framework.

  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Sharepoint

  • Knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI and other reporting tools is preferred

  • Experience in Confluence, Jive and other collaboration tools is desirable

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in stakeholder management up to Senior Manager levels internally and externally

  • Able to perform analysis and reports, and develop plans to address challenges, opportunities, and synergies

  • High integrity, self-motivated and ability to identify problems, contribute, propose solutions and follow-up diligently towards resolution.

  • Team player and able to learn quickly and work effectively across multiple organisations in a global team.

  • Knowledge of technology sourcing and contracting methodology is desirable
