Client’s Location; KL, Malaysia
Brief overview of the position:
• Reports to the Project Manager on project basis, and is responsible to ensure that the customer business and system requirement are correctly and completely captured and meet agreed business needs.
The main responsibilities:
• Responsible for investigative work in seeking business solutions. Organises the business solution implementation through improvements in information systems, process and procedures, data management, organisation and equipment.
• Work with senior client to conduct investigations at a high level for strategy studies, requirement specifications and feasibility studies.
• Utilises business experience and skills to assess and advise on the practicability of alternatives, bring together technical limitations and operational realities.
• Responsible for modelling the designed solutions using resources, standards, methods and tools as required, and play key role in bringing systems to implementation as detailed by organization policies and methods.
• Responsible to plan, arrange and conduct system investigation and throughout subsequent development work.
• Ensuring that key deliverables agreed with the Project Manager are produced and delivered within the milestones defined on the project plan to the defined quality standards.
• Conduct validation on the deliverables and developed solutions in ensuring that the functional, business requirement and needs are met.
• Conduct verification – review on the project deliverables.
• Understand complex business problems and ensure that the programming team or any other third parties (internal or external) working on the project understands the business requirements and that this understanding is carried forward into the technical solution they develop.
• Takes initiative to keep skills up to date and maintain awareness of developments in the Information System industry.
• Lead the presales activities, if necessary. Listen to Customer, understand their requirement and expectation.
Financial Accountabilities:
• Ensure project deliverables pertaining to technical requirements are completed within planned project budget
Management Reporting:
• Highlight possible project issues or any project potential risks to Project Manager
• Provide project status update to Project Manager as per project guidelines
Monthly Submission and Reporting
• Arranges, prepares and takes part in client/user meetings and presents issues and solutions both orally and in writing.
• Submits the Timesheets twice a month by the dates stipulated by the Company
• Submits the Expense Claims to the Department’ Claims Verifier by the date stipulated (state date if available) for expenses incurred for the previous month supported by the original receipts

• Proficient in Information Modeling tools.
• Proficient in Business Analysis techniques.
• Proficient knowledge in Corporate, Industry and Professional Standards.
• Excellent presentation techniques and skills.
• Understanding of Business Process Reengineering and Business Process Improvement techniques.
• Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with clients, customers, colleagues and subordinates.
• Apply systematic, disciplined and analytical approach in problem solving with good attention to detail.
• Familiar with the software engineering life cycle for development and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems from initial study through implementation.
• Possesses Conceptual Thinking. Understands the underlying issues in complex situations and frequently relates the similarities to situations that are apparently unconnected through the use of concepts, models or previous experiences.
• Customer Oriented and Focus. Earns the respect of customers by clearly demonstrating that the needs of the customer have a high priority e.g. by reacting positively to their feedback. Develop excellent working relationship with Customer.
• Influence and Persuasion. Presents a complex case/course of action tailored to the needs and interests of others and gains acceptance
• Aware of Business Characteristics. The functional structure of businesses and other organizations; their mission, objectives, strategies and critical success factors.
Requirements
• At least 3 years & above working experience in IT system development.
• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Related industry/ subject matter expertise a plus.
