It is a Technical Pre-Sales and commissioned sales position. You need to be an engineer or technical expert with customer facing skills. Responsible for Influencing and advocating Intel Optane memory and its technology for all of Intel's Business units through a vertically oriented, solutions led approach to Business and IT.
The Industry Technical Specialist is the technical counterpart to the Account Executive and is responsible for ensuring that all technical and architectural needs of our covered accounts (Cloud and Communications Service Providers, Enterprise and Government) are understood and that we are working with the customer, our business units teams and our partners to develop technically advanced solutions that help solve our customer business problem and that create significant pull for Intel's Optane memory and its solution.
In addition, ITS collaborates with partners (Multi-National Corporations, Original Equipment Manufacturers, System Integrators, Independent Software Vendors and other ecosystem players) to bring maximum Intel value to the business. Knows partners product lines and business and articulates Intel value.

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent professional experience) is required

  • Preferred 3+ years of customer facing experience (or equivalent) and demonstrated ability to articulate the benefits of complex technologies and solutions

  • Solid knowledge of Data Center's Compute, Memory and Storage Technologies

  • Demonstrated ability to work in pair with Sales /Account Executive counterparts

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Have a good grasp and some hands-on experience on Edge to Cloud & Memory concepts and technologies
