You will work primarily with our impact program team, NGO partners, government agencies, relevant stakeholders and experts/contractors.
- Having a Bachelors or a Master's degree in Education, Entrepreneurship, Social Studies, and other relevant fields.
- Having 1-4 years of experience in instructional design, teaching, and training. The best opportunity is for Teach for Malaysia Fellows.
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written and spoken command of the English and Malay language.
- Must have a mastery of language i.e great spelling, punctuation and grammar count, as well as the ability to write succinctly and boil complex ideas down into simple explanations.
- Familiar with Canvas, Airtable, Slack, and Virtual instructional design.
- Having teaching experience will be an added advantage.
- Deals effectively with ad-hoc challenges, keeps calm in pressing situations, flexible with last-minute changes, and still has a positive attitude throughout.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends, when the project requires so.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, to meet deadlines.
- Possess a driving license and own transportation.
- Willing to travel nationwide amidst Covid-19 pandemic
- Designing and developing instructional materials (lesson plans, teaching and learning materials (modules, videos, assignments, quizzes, final projects, etc) as per Me.reka Pedagogy.
- Design, curate, and organize physical and virtual training and classes for participants.
- Deliver physical and virtual training and classes, and troubleshoot any arising matters that might affect program delivery.
- Design, develop and oversee mentorship component including identification of mentors, matching with participants, scheduling and monitoring mentorship sessions.
- Develop and maintain an engaging relationship with program participants and partners, ensuring the program and participants are on track in meeting all their deliverables
- Develop relationships and partnerships with field experts, industry experts, academia, and potential mentors to collaborate in program delivery.
