Job Description

Primary Objectives:
1. Engage with Business & Operational users and the technical team members directly and manage all aspects of the project life cycle and meet the project’s objective.
2. Manage vendor(s) to ensure smooth implementation of project & program activities.
3. Develop and maintain project plan and roll-out schedule, while managing project scope, costs overrun & quality.
4. Identify & mitigate project risks.
5. Ensure proper facilities and resources are available for the project
6. Provide guidance & advisory on project issues & requirements
7. Resolve escalated issues in a timely, objective & effective manner.
8. Monitor and communicate progress & reports updates and status to Management & stakeholders.
9. Ensure Compliance & provides overall guidance to users/stakeholders & SFGs/SBGs on required processes, Internal Governance (Compliance, Audit and Risk matters) in the execution of IT Requests / Projects /Initiatives.
10. Evaluate ways & approaches to enhance services, biz solutions & reduce costs through the innovative use of existing resources, innovation & of resources & application of new technologies.
11. Establishes, implements, deploys and complies to the project management methodology & processes, in alignment with Group PMO.
12. Tracks & reports on current progress, status and key information of projects, in order to provide key project(s) visibility to management in a timely and consistent manner.
13. Facilitates improved team communications & organization effectiveness, by having, sharing & implementing common policies, processes, guidelines & terminologies, across IB.
14. Monitors organization-wide (Regions) metrics on the state (progress & status) aspects of Project management, deliveries & key IT initiatives.
  • Diploma
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management. Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience in Investment Banking and Asset Management industry will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to easily manage himself / herself to goals and deadlines, while handling multiple job assignments/tasks/projects.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
