Job Description

Client Background:German-based MNC
· Strengthening current customer base of Malaysia market particularly Petronas and other sector like oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery
· Extending current sales network to encompass new customers, consultants, EPCs in the region
· Facilitate contact between HQ sales and local client base.
· Get the approved vendor lists of major projects / customers / EPCs/ engineering companies.
· Promote products that are already known to the market and products that are relatively unfamiliar to the market
· Coordinate with other business units (e.g. gas turbines/diesel engines/gas engines etc.) whenever there are project synergies
· Collect & consolidate market & project information to be updated into project lists or/and market surveys Handle all applications related work for compressors for upstream business.
· Performing compressor performance runs and determining compressor selections
· Preparation of API / technical datasheets / forms / tables / charts
· Liaison with customers to optimize compressor selections that provides win-win solutions to the customer
· Take up the task of incorporating applications skills of other products as and when these tools are made available
· Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical (or similar)
· 5+ years experience on application and bidding process (preferable for oil & gas industries, refineries, petrochemical plants, etc)
· Have working experience with oil & gas co. particularly Petronas and Malaysia companies
· Good attitude to work in a team and possess a strong desire to learn
· Ability to think out of the box to propose innovative solutions to clients
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Preferably Bumiputra with excellent technical knowledge
· Preferably from MNC companies
