Intel Programmable Solutions Group is seeking exceptional talent for a future role as Verification Tech Lead to work with a diverse team designing Intel's next generation FPGA based SOCs - someone who is passionate to improve the way we solve complex problems through teamwork / direct contributions. A Pre-Si verification tech lead owns one or more architectural functional blocks to perform all verification related tasks including creating test cases and test bench using UVM methodology. Capacity could include full chip and/or system functional verification with defining verification strategies, methodology and test plan to enable effective verification. Other responsibilities include - Coordinate cross functional efforts with Design, SW, Architecture team to achieve full coverage verification plan. - Using system full application to verify i/o interface performance and identify short falls. - Adopting Verification tool flows and methodologies and translating the best-in-class verification methodologies from industry to internal deployment such as Formal Verification, Low Power Verification, Performance Verification, Co-Simulation, Emulation, etc.
- BSEE/MSEE or equivalent with 8+ years of experience with complex ASIC designs and/or verification. - Pre-silicon system verification experiences in the areas of SoC, FPGA and embedded microprocessor design verification - Familiar with System Verilog, UVM and strong programming skills in scripting or C. - Previous experiences in constraint random verification using UVM/System Verilog and coverage driven verification - Familiarity with Gate Level Simulation (GLS) and/or Unified Power Format (UPF) - Strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to work with a team spread across different geography sites and the flexibility of handling the dynamic execution environment. - Knowledge in IA/ARM CPU architecture and/or 2-3 major industrial standard I/O interfaces, such as, Ethernet, PCIe, USB, DDR or HBMInside this Business Group
