The Role Responsibilities
The Lead, Product Engineering leverages a strong technical background to translate business and user needs into either a working solution or a technical specification. The person closes the gaps between different functions and specialties.
The person will be responsible for managing and delivering any requirements specific to Customer Experience Observability and Service Level Objectives related projects. The person who understands the priorities, manages and groom the backlogs, develop and delivery proactive monitoring, acting as Product Owner in defining technical roadmap for Observability.
The Lead, Product Engineering can have delegated responsibility..

  • To shape and communicate the Product Vision, Strategy, Roadmap and Delivery of Product KPIs in continuous alignment with RPBWM T%26amp;I Engagement %26amp; Experience Vision.

  • Work closely with Business, Operations and design teams to ensure delivery of best in class services to customers and uninterrupted service for the customer.

  • Governing the overall delivery process and standards followed within the team. Periodically revise/re-align with standards as required.

  • Advocate delivery excellence, ensuring the release quality.

  • Manage stakeholders and teams as required.

  • Establish roadmaps and reusable tools for automation and standardization

  • Support the technology roadmap for the Customer Experiences aligned with the Business %26amp; T%26amp;I Strategy, build what clients need. Research, analyze and think long-term.

  • Technology development and support team.

  • Country CTM and Business users.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Have 15+ years of experience developing and scaling complex software environments for web services/ applications. Prior experience on SRE, Observability and Monitoring is a plus and the priority.

  • Strong experience on enterprise monitoring tools ITRS/Geneos, AppDynamics, Prometheus, etc.

  • Working experience in software development using Java, J2EE,Postgres, Spring Boot, Web Service or Messaging, Mobile application(Google Flutter, Android Studio, Xcode), Python and Apache Libraries.

  • Good knowledge in application servers/containers JBoss Fuse, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere.

  • Good Knowledge in Devops ( Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarCube)

  • Working experience in Agile methodology.

  • Good knowledge on AWS Cloud build and maintenance, including automation by using scripting.

  • Experience in implement new mobile products, applications and protocols. Possessed knowledge on terminology, concepts and best practices for coding mobile apps.

  • Application performance tuning, performance analysis and tuning, analysing performance metrics.

  • Multitasking ability and good Communication skills

  • A track record of following through on commitments

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

  • Banking domain experience in digital channels is added advantage.
