. Ensuring company solvency position remain healthy
. Ensuring all actuarial process are in compliance with policies and regulatory guideline
. Develop, motivate and mentor team members and prepare them for greater job responsibility
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Coordinate all prophet modelling developments process including UAT, Documentation, Governance

  • Ensure all actuarial model (not limited to Prophet, Spreadsheet, Retakaful Model) are modelled accurately

  • Provide support for ICAAP with focus on ITCL and TCAR determination, stress and scenario testing, capital projections

  • Coordinate and ensure all internal / group policies, regulatory guidelines are implemented effectively within all actuarial functions

  • Lead and manage projects where assigned and ensure projects are completed as scheduled with high quality

  • Develop and maintain a highly motivated team while providing support and guidance to ensure their career development and progress

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Actuarial Valuation Role with experience in Prophet Modelling

  • Degree in Actuarial Studies or Mathematics

  • Associate and above from Recognised International Actuarial Bodies (eg IFOA, SOA, IOAA) will be an added advantage

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Experience in Prophet Modelling with experience in Stochastic modelling an added advantage

  • Sound technical knowledge in both actuarial valuation and modelling

  • Highly analytical and inquisitive with attention to details

  • Able to work well in a team and also deliver as individual contributor

  • Results driven and adaptable with good interpersonal and strong written and communication skill
