The Role Responsibilities %26amp; Our Ideal Candidate
Brokerage Operations primary role in ensuring timely brokerage payment and investigation services.  
Business is highly focused on Brokerage Fee which has an impact their business PnL (Contra Revenue).
Brokerage focuses on supporting critical business units (COO, Business Heads, PC and other stakeholders):
  • Providing reports and Management Information Dashboard
  • Providing brokerage PnL explain
  • Other queries on Brokerage Payment and allocation. 

Candidate should have knowledge in the following areas:
  • Settlement background
  • Reconciliation
  • Understanding the breadth and complexity of the regulatory environment across our global footprint.

  • Duties:
  • Brokerage Operations contact point person (Internal stakeholders ie SCB onsite team, project team, FO, COO and external stakeholders ie Brokers across regions, Broadridge - 3rd party vendor)
  • Partner with 3rd party provider to drive specific broker agenda. Ensuring a timely workflow is device for top priority brokers and achieve a timely payment structure.
  • BAU criticality
    • Aged invoice payments have been raised to Global business heads and the high risk at NFRC. Therefore, timely payment management is critical.
    • Exception Management which includes repair non STP payments and entries.
    • Breaks Management - Commentary update, timely breaks investigation and resolution, reducing aged breaks reported at the monthly Risk Forum to top management.
    • Non-Transaction Fee not managed by 3rd party provider and hence process entirely from BAU team (maker/ checker control)
    • Month end accrual and reporting
    • Month end reconciliation
    • Business MI Reporting
  • Key driver for daily calls agenda with 3rd party provider.
  • Governance and Oversight of 3rd party provider’s performance
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) %26amp; User Verification Testing (UVT) - when needed.
  • Project involvement:
    • Phase 2 countries migration; coordinate with Project team
    • Take over exception handling for the Phase 2 countries from countries (except for Korea)
  • Identify and build strong, effective relationships with both the business and technology stakeholders, across global offices.
