The Role Responsibilities
  • Budget Management & reporting (80%)

-To manage and track the MY Retail team's marketing budget to ensure campaigns are executed within budget. S/he will support the MY Retail Marketing team for administrative (ePro input), reporting and presentations of every aspect of budget management.
- S/he will be lead in collating the A&P spend budget and prepare presentation decks for MY for reporting and management meetings.
  • Gift/Premium Management (20%)

-Responsible for efficient management and reporting of the inventory of premiums and vouchers in support of Retail Banking's teams gift requisitions. S/he will partner the Retail Marketing team as well as Segments and Products teams to propose ideas.
-Review gift sourcing and tracking processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency for the Business.
Budget Management & presentation decks preparation
  • Support sourcing and inventory management in ensuring production cost of the premiums and vouchers are within planned budget.
  • Preparation of invoice processing for timely payment to suppliers and to manage accruals for monthly reconciliation with Finance.
  • Assist retail marketing managers on budget tracking, timely quotation approval, and report
  • Preparation of monthly timely reconciliation and reporting of A&P forecast and actual for Retail Marketing teams.
  • Assist Retail Marketing team in preparation of A&P reporting and analysis as well as budget tracking for quarterly marketing council forum.

Gift Management - Sourcing, Tracking and Accountability
  • Timely production, delivery and invoicing for client gifts (premiums and vouchers) intended for campaign gifting, roadshows or events.
  • Manage the inventory of premiums and vouchers for accountability, timely usage (pre-expiry) and cost efficiency.
  • Proper and timely reports for audit purposes.
  • Provide monthly report on stock inventory levels and aging (expiry dates) and recommendation to Business and B&M for effective allocation of inventory.
  • S/he will conduct monthly reviews and checks as wells as ensure Retail Marketing, Products, Segments and stakeholders adhere to the Gift policy and guidelines.

Vendor Management
  • Manage the working relationship with key appointed vendors (e.g warehousing, premium suppliers and retailers) and ensure they adhere to our vendor management guidelines.
  • Periodic review of all vendors and suppliers to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Marketing Support duties
  • S/he will assist and support the Retail Marketing team on minor marketing campaigns, communication materials.
  • S/he will manage the end to end Gift and Entertainment process and procedures for Retail Banking and bank-wide events.

  • Strong numeracy and accounting skills with at least 5 years working experience in an Accounting/Marketing background
  • Meticulous and quantitatively comfortable (dealing with and managing budgets, reconciliation and preparation of reports are required)
  • At least 3 years of Retail marketing or marketing support experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in inventory reporting
  • Experience in preparing presentation slides, decks, charts, graphs etc using MS Office
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to project manage independently to ensure timelines, budget and accountabilities are met.
  • Proficient in budget analysis (e.g. type of spend classification)
  • Self-starter, good team player with an independent work style
