Job Description

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the MIS team and MIS -related functions of the company, including the development of team capabilities.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations, including IT infrastructure, ERP system (Infor ERP SyteLine), WMS (warehouse management system) and other business applications, at all times.
  • Maintain, support and enhance ERP system and WMS. Work closely with HODs / key users to understand and collate business requirements, as well as facilitate process harmonisation and change management by providing the solutions to address business/operation issues.
  • Continuously improve IT infrastructure of the company, including internet, LAN/WAN, servers, client computers, security, data storage and backup etc.
  • Constantly evaluate and drive adoption of new technologies to improve user productivity and operational efficiency
  • Understand the IT services that business partners need and request, and can articulate them in ways that is clear for the business partner as well as for those in IT.
  • Manage IT-related projects and the cross-functional project teams.
  • Mange IT policies & procedures and IT budget.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or any related field.
  • At least 6 years of IT experience, with 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong hands-on experience in supporting any of the international ERP package is a must, with excellent working knowledge in business processes, including sales, distribution, manufacturing and finance etc. Experience in Infor ERP SyteLine is preferable, but not essential.
  • Solid expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, VB .Net and SSRS.
  • Good working knowledge of IT infrastructure, including network, cyber-security, cloud computing, email, firewall, anti-virus/anti-spam solution, Microsoft Hypervisor (VM), SAN storage, database and systems administration.
  • Strong analytical ability on business & technical requirements and issues, able to see things from a business perspective with solid problems-solving skill.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the capability to build good rapport with the key stakeholders.
