Summary of Responsibilities
• Establishes clear, compelling and inspiring mission that aligns the natural drive and enthusiasm of the sales force with defined business strategy.
• Drives superior sales and market share growth through the strategic use of clinical data and competitive knowledge, superior selling skills generating continuous support of the medical targets for RB products, strong business acumen and commitment to instilling standards of excellence at every level in the sales organization.
• Builds and leads a high-performance team by securing the best available talent, structuring development strategies that maximize individual growth and the development of future leaders in the sales organization. Identifies the core competencies required to drive sales and develop the organization staff and future leaders.
• Creates and encourages an environment that stresses open, honest, and timely feedback relative to performance.
• Establishes close relationship with key opinion leaders / pediatricians, physician equity groups and professional societies and utilizes those relationships to strengthen RB image, competitive position and performance.
• Ensures that patient (i.e.. Mother/baby) needs are quickly and successfully incorporated into the franchise / product strategies. Partners with marketing functions to identify and assess new and more effective ways of positioning our products as the preferred mode.
• Develops relationships based on credibility, respect and trust with other functional heads (i.e. marketing, finance and human resources) and utilizes those relationships to enhance business performance.
• Establishes a culture focused on enhancing and extending human life as a source of competitive advantage and a desire to win in the marketplace.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Education Attainment Requirement:
• Bachelor Degree in Business / Management, Science or Engineering (hold MBA or equivalent would be an advantage)
Professional Background:
• Proven track record of successful district and regional managers positions.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully motivating a sales organization toward the achievement of sales goals.
• Proven track record in developing people and developing leaders in particular.
• Successful pharmaceutical marketing experience and demonstrated ability to leverage clinical data and complex medical information to drive product sales, translating features in clear tangible and convincing benefits.
• Experience in Infant Nutrition market, (i.e. Infant Formula and Vitamins) having worked with the main drivers of the market (pediatricians, hospitals and maternities).
Expected Areas of Competence:
• Knowledge of the nutritional products marketplace and competitive companies.
• Mastery of selling skill able to effectively communicate/listen, personalizes the message, and approach each contact with a defined objective
• Mastery the development, resource management practices, development planning and techniques of hospital promotional sales force.
• Understanding of environmental and industry trends (e.g. MOH Regulation) and their impact on the business.
• Strong understanding of incentive compensation and how to use it as a performance driver
• Strong understanding of non-financial motivating and motivational techniques.
• Good knowledge of the science of human behavior in order to obtain maximum results through his people
• Excellent customer relationship (HCPs, Medical Societies, Hospitals etc..)
