Job Description

Client Background: Data Center Services Provider
Location: Cyberjaya
Headcount: 1
Tenure: Contract 12 Months (Renewable)
Remuneration: to be discussed
·Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues at any layer of the OSI Network Model.
·Ability to use CLI commands and configure the above hardware.
·Ability to work with site staff to document and address network issues.
·Working with onsite technicians and approving their work and deliverables.
·Manage escalated tickets from Technical Support Specialist and Engineer 1 groups.
·Acts as a knowledge resource to the NOC Helpdesk teams.
·Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
·Excellent over the phone customer service skills.
·1 year NOC environment experience
·Experience with Major Incident support, level 1
·Flexibility to support shift coverage including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
·Must have demonstrated troubleshooting in network protocols (routing, switching, LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, etc)
·DWDM, LEC, CLEC, 4G and 5G, VLAN, fiber optics, etc.)
