· Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate.
· Previous experience within a client service team with particular focus on DMA and OTC settlement.
· Knowledge of Operational Risk, Client Money Protection and Funding

What you can expect
Incumbent will be part of the team where asset transfer and settlements is performed for the Global Markets Operations and Middle Office team for Bank of America Malaysia Berhad. Candidate must also be on hand to offer premium Client service and deal with all Client queries and support the relationships between our Clients and internal BofA departments. Up to date market knowledge on key initiatives and developments within the clearing and settlement space are desirable. Directly interacting with Clients on a daily basis, you will be a point of contact for clients on operational matters and will act as Client advocate within BofA to ensure clients’ needs are met. Incumbent needs to also focus on delivering best practices and operational excellence.
Role focus on effort across various BAU processes supporting the correspondent banking FX business which started in January 2020, and supporting future targeted growth in that business.
What you will do
· ensuring accurate and timely settlement of FX, Bonds, Money Market, IRS, CCS and other trades processed by Global Market Operations and Middle Office team;
· monitor all items due for settlement and reporting on the same;
· ensure all trades booked are accurately processed the same day;
· ensure all relevant MI and stakeholder queries are completed in a timely manner and as per expected standards.
· support all other responsibilities within the scope of the team.
· directly interact with Front Office, Sales, Risk, Credit, and other departments to ensure that all deliverables are met in a timely manner and accurately.
